MEET JULIA
TWELVE YEARS EXPERIENCE AT THE CAPITOL AND MEETING WITH YOU
I was born in Honolulu. My family moved to California when I was six. I returned to Hawaii as a young adult, completing a round trip. I still live in our family home.
In Hawaii, over the last four decades, I have worked in retail businesses, owned my own business and worked in a family owned enterprise. For the last twelve years I’ve worked at the State Capitol, the last eleven for the Senate Minority.
In every job I have greeted everyone who walks in the door, listened and answered questions, offered direction and helped find solutions to challenges.
I am active in Palolo Lions Club and as a member of Neighborhood Board No. 5.
I attend the First Presbyterian Church and participate in many church activities.
I understand the everyday needs of our community, the functioning of our businesses and the legislative process.
I have prepared myself to do the best possible job of representing our community and advancing its interests. I am also mindful of my responsibility to our state as a whole.
